Christian Artist, Michael Vantes, Releases New Single

We've been working with an up and coming Christian recording artist named Michael Vantes. Vantes, who's been a bandleader, worship leader and recording artist in the Dallas area for about 10 years, is working on his second professional album. The album will be titled Rest, and he has just released the title track of the album in the beginning of October.

"The song is all about rest, spiritual rest that God's promised Christians in Hebrews 4:1 - 11," Vantes said. "Once I understood that concept, my whole spiritual life changed forever. "

"Rest", the title track of the album, was inspired in part by The Rest of the Gospel, a book by Dan Stone and Greg Smith, published a few years ago. The central theme of the book is that the way the Christian gospel has been taught in most mainstream churches over the past several decades only focuses on a partial, human-centered understanding of the true power of the message of Jesus.

"Rest" is not Vantes' first foray into the world of Christian contemporary music. Vantes produced his first album back in 2005. This album was sold on SnoCap and CD Baby and did well for a first, independent label album. Vantes now owns his own production company and label, called Exousia Records.
